How credits work
Each credit costs $0.01 on pay-as-you-go. We calculate your monthly price by converting usage into credits using the rules below.
API Calls
5 credits per 1,000 calls (semantic & lexical search)
Every time you trigger a call to the Moorcheh API counts as one API call. This includes listing, creating, and deleting namespaces, uploading and updating documents, performing vector searches, and all other API operations.

Gen AI Calls (AWS Bedrock Models)
Every time you trigger the answer endpoint counts as one Gen AI call. Each call consumes credits based on the selected model tier.
Standard Models: 2 credits per call — Llama 3 70B (128K context), DeepSeek-R1 (128K context)
Advanced Models: 3 credits per call — Claude 3.7 Sonnet (200K context), Amazon Nova Pro (300K context)
Premium Models: 5 credits per call — Claude Sonnet 4 (200K context), Llama 4 Maverick 17B (1.0M context)

Namespaces
3 credits per namespace (one-time). Even if a namespace is deleted, the 3-credit charge remains.
Storage Chunks
2 credits per 1,000 storage chunks.
Data Ingestion
1 credit per 10MB processed. This applies to documents uploaded into namespaces in the console. We calculate ingestion across all namespaces and per document; documents under 10MB still cost 1 credit, and above that the 1-credit-per-10MB rate applies.
